An early Victorian combination vesta case in excellent condition, both the hinges to the vesta case and the cigar cutter work. Dated 1862 with a beautiful engine turned design to the lid, base and a beautiful round belt and buckle cartouche to the lid engraved with the initials J.C. The combination vesta case has engine turning to all 3 of the side panels which are of a serpentine design. Hallmarked in several places and all are clean & clear.
