A good Victorian silver gilt mounted ruby glass double ended scent bottle with 10-sided faceted glass body. One end has a sprung hinged silver gilt lid sealed with a metal plate that is engraved with Sampson Mordan & Co, the other end has a screw off cap sealed with internal cork. Sampson Mordan is engraved on this end round the silver mount. The cartouche is empty on the sprung end and initials on the other end. c. 1870
In very good condition with no repair. A few nibbles on one side of the glass.
