Prattware two handled loving cup with turquoise/green coloured glaze, gilt highlights and two different country scene transfer decorations on each side of the cup. One shows a river scene of cattle in the water and ladies washing clothes in the river. The other shows riders on horses saying goodbye and dogs.
Produced at the Fenton pottery, Staffordshire, by F. & R. Pratt with printed mark in brown for No 123 on the bottom.
11cm (4¼ in) diam.
11.5cm (4½in) high
18cm (7in) across at the handles.
Slight discolouration inside but the glaze is good with some minor scratches. Gilding in great shape overall.
