An unusual Victorian pot lid entitled ‘The village wakes’; number 321 in the pot lid book. A good and unusual bear scene illustrating a performing bear, hand held organ-player and monkey riding on a dog. The colours are bright and clear and it is signed T. Jackson (Thomas Jackson).
There is a little glaze missing from the bear’s tummy but otherwise in excellent condition.
