A beautiful pair of tiny vases Meiji Period (1868-1912) with immortals and much gilding. The decoration is of a high quality. They are very small and have a mark on the bottom consisting of a black mark with gilt cross on top. This is the Shimazu Mon which is the crest of the family that ruled Satsuma.
They are a pair but one has damage at the top of the vase.
3cm (1¼in) high and maximum 2cm (¾in) wide.
Apart from the top of one they are in excellent condition. Price reflects the damage.
