A high quality Marius Hammer brooch in silver gilt, blue and white enamel with pendant drops & chains, c. 1910.  A series of filigree panel pendants, chains and drops, which hang from the main brooch and ‘tremble’.
Good functioning hook & pin with curly ‘C’ hook. The brooch has silver marks to the reverse  930S, along with distinctive maker's marks M with a hammer through the centre.
The Brooch is of traditional Norwegian design, and would have been used as part of a Norwegian costume.
