Impressively large and well-designed silver German cow creamer c.1900 - 1910. Hallmarked grade 800 with Halbmond und Krone (Half-moon and crown) – the post 1886 mark. Makers mark JLS – Jean L. Schlinghoff, was one of the two leading silversmiths in the free trade city of Hanau. Length 22cm (10 in). Height to top of horns 16cm (6 in). Weight 770gm.
