This silver etui was made in Birmingham in 1800 by Samuel Pemberton.The etui has a slightly tapering form and is engraved on both sides with bright cut bands, flower head motifs and a shield shaped cartouche, containing contemporary script initials for LL and ribbons above. Unusually it has the same design on both sides. There is a padded interior.
Marked SP on the base.
Excellent condition and perfect clasp to open and close.
