Probably replacement brooch fittings.
Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Ruby medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with typical inclusions.
Stones with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
