Early 1900 Scandinavian Skønvirke silver brooch set with amber cabochons, made by the Norwegian jeweller and silversmith Marius Hammer. A swirling, three-dimensional design with a central stylised open flower highlighted with a circular amber cabochon. Suspended below, the pear-shaped drop is also detailed with a smaller, oval amber stone. Marked on the back for 800 silver and with the Marius Hammer maker’s mark. Length 7.7cm. 24.1gm.
