Rare antique gold snake mourning brooch consisting of a coiled body with a drop head. Gold is covered with delicate enamel work. In the centre of the heart drop turquoise enamel forms a flower, forget-me-not. The reverse has a glass cover with hair.
This brooch has been tested to 15ct gold. There is minimal enamel wear and the clasp is in working order. Comes with non-original antique box. Measures approx. 2 x 3.1cm. Weighs in total 4.58gm. £1,550
