Louis XV silver and mother of pearl snuff box, modelled as a chest of four drawers. The side and base panels are carved with Rococo foliate cartouches on a geometric chain scroll ground. The lid has a depiction of Bruegel's painting, The Merchant [Pedlar] Robbed by Monkeys, 1562, signed to the reverse G A Forsman fecit. Discharge mark Paris c.1750, 6cm wide, 3cm high, 5cm deep
