A hand painted pantry box in pine. The thin layer of pine is bent to form the oval curved box which is hand painted with a leaf and scroll design. It says ‘Fra Hallingdal’. Hallingdal is one of the major valleys of Eastern Norway, in the northern part of the county of Buskerud.
23cm (9in) long and 16cm (6in) high including handle.
In very good condition except for a split on the lid.
